Surfing and Family Time

Spent the last day in Maui before vacation surfing. What a great day. Nice clean waves and lots of friends on the water. Thank you Barb for taking me out for a morning session at Hookipa and all the friends who shared waves with me at Mama's in the evening.
I am now in Denver for some family time. Back to Maui Saturday.

Rainy Days

It sure has been raining a lot lately. To me, windsurfing while its raining is like sticking your head out the window of the car on the freeway in the rain. No fun. Maybe I'm being too sensitive and should just get out there more!

The truth is the past two days cleared up a bit and I got some good sessions in.

The first picture is one of jaws in late September. We have been getting massive swell so early this winter.

So sad to hear today of Andy Irons passing. He is a legend and will be missed!
