Kuau Point

Yes, I did score my first Kuau point today! Yea! Quite the swim and lost my new Free Style watch in a wipe out :( Oh well, now I'm in the running for the cup again :)

New Elua Makani Surfboard

Thank you Ralf and Sandy at Second Wind for supporting me with a brand new Elua Makani 8'0 surfboard! I have already had a few adventures with it, including a small fight. I'm sure we will work out our differences soon and be ripping the waves of Maui in no time :)

Windsport Magazine

Lowers at Kanaha

Yesterday I went over to Lowers in the late afternoon to sail. When I headed out to the beach I ran into David Ezzy and KP who were talking shop and I knew they would be watching me so I went for it! The first few waves I caught were great, but then I crashed and took forever to get back up and going. I got swept down to kiter-ville and felt silly. Oh well, I guess we all make fools of ourselves sometimes :)

West Side!

Yesterday Russ and I headed over to the west side for the possibility of catching some wind and waves. What do you know, it was awesome! Glad I made the hour drive, because I had a blast. Sailed with Kai Katchadourian and Kevin Pritchard. Still smiling:)
